Manufacturing Technician - CNC Milling - Husky (India) Chennai

As a Manufacturing Technician specializing in CNC Milling at Husky TechnologiesTM in Chennai, India, your primary responsibility will be to manufacture components using CNC Milling machines. You will be tasked with inspecting the parts using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. Key responsibilities of this role include operating CNC Milling Machines, setting up CNC milling machines by installing and aligning workpieces, tools, and fixtures, planning tools and fixtures required for turning operations, inspecting parts according to drawing requirements, and having a basic understanding of CNC programming. Additionally, you should be proficient in reading inspection control plans, interpreting specifications, drawings, standards, and tolerances in a GD&T environment. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong knowledge of CNC Milling 5 Axis in a machining environment, be familiar with 5S and GD&T standards, have working knowledge of mechanical and electrical gauges used in CNC Machines, demonstrate basic problem-solving skills in CNC turning machine operations, and be proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel and Outlook. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Qualifications for this position include a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) with experience in CNC Milling operations. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in CNC Milling and a background in the Tool making industry, Precision components Manufacturing, or Automotive manufacturing.
