Job Summary:

Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements.
  
• Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
  
• Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing.
  
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and issues.
  
• Communicate effectively with developers and product teams to resolve defects.
  
• Participate in requirement and design review meetings.
  
• Give product demos or walk-throughs to clients as required.
  
• Maintain clear and professional communication, both internally and with external stakeholders.
  
• Ensure the product meets high-quality standards before release.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• [0-2 / 2-4 / 4+] years of experience in manual testing.
  
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and lifecycle.
  
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis).
  
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile practices.
  
• Excellent written and spoken English; must be fluent and confident in client communication.
  
• Ability to present and demonstrate software features to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
  
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  
• Exposure to tools like Postman for API testing.
  
• Interest or experience in automation testing (a plus).
