Job Description: Mobilizer Position: Mobilizer Location: [Specify Project Location]Organization: [Your Organization’s Name]Reporting To: Project Coordinator / Centre Manager Role Overview: The Mobilizer plays a crucial role in connecting the community with the training and development opportunities offered by the organization. The primary responsibility is to identify, motivate, and mobilize eligible candidates from the target communities, sensitize them about skill development programs, and ensure their successful enrollment and participation. The Mobilizer acts as the first point of contact between the project and the community, creating awareness, building trust, and ensuring effective outreach. Key Responsibilities: Community Mobilization & Outreach Identify and engage with target groups such as unemployed youth, women, marginalized communities, and underprivileged sections of society. Conduct door-to-door visits, organize community meetings, and build rapport with local stakeholders. Work closely with panchayats, NGOs, SHGs, schools, and community leaders for mobilization. Generate awareness about skill training programs through campaigns, IEC materials, roadshows, and workshops. Candidate Identification & Enrollment Counsel prospective candidates on available courses, eligibility criteria, and career opportunities. Ensure maximum enrollment of eligible candidates as per project targets. Support candidates in completing registration, documentation, and verification processes. Coordination & Networking Develop strong linkages with government departments, employment exchanges, industry associations, and local influencers for smooth mobilization. Coordinate with training staff to ensure proper induction of enrolled candidates. Data Collection & Reporting Maintain proper records of mobilization activities, enrollment status, and candidate feedback. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and submit to project coordinator. Monitoring & Follow-Up Track attendance and participation of candidates in training sessions. Provide continuous support and motivation to trainees to reduce dropouts. Act as a bridge between the community, candidates, and training center. Required Qualifications & Skills:Minimum Qualification: Graduate (Preferred: Social Work / Rural Development / Education / Management). Experience: 1–3 years in mobilization, community outreach, or counseling (Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply). Strong networking skills with grassroots-level communities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills in local language(s). Ability to work in rural/urban field conditions with flexible timings. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Data Entry). Personal Attributes:Passion for social development and community empowerment. Ability to motivate and inspire youth.
