Role & responsibilities Sales & Business Development • External Business Generation: Actively identify and target potential external ambulance partners to establish agreements for routine and emergency ambulance services. • Revenue Growth: Execute sales strategies to increase the volume of ambulance business from external sources, contributing directly to departmental revenue targets. • Market Analysis: Monitor competitor service offerings in the Pune region and propose competitive strategies to capture greater market share. Ambulance Operations & Coordination • Logistics Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for handling ambulance requests, ensuring efficient dispatch and optimal route planning for both routine and emergency transfers. • Internal Business Optimization: Work closely with the hospital's Emergency Department and Inpatient teams to ensure maximum utilization of the hospital's fleet for inter-hospital transfers and discharges, thereby increasing internal ambulance business. • Fleet Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate daily/weekly reports on ambulance utilization rates, response times, fuel consumption, and revenue realized per trip. • Driver Liaison: Liaise with ambulance drivers and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) to address operational challenges and ensure high service standards are maintained during transport. Reporting and Administration • Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive database of all external clients, sales activities, and performance metrics related to the ambulance business.
