Description
The individual will be responsible for governance for model delivery within SCMAC along with other functional aspects of the unit. You will also provide thought leadership and act as a subject matter expert to design and recommend solutions in addressing key issues within the business. It is essential to understand AI risk, model governance, and governance related to the data analytics process. You should have an understanding of data/feature selection practice and their effect on risks (e.g., bias, explainability) and the model development life cycle and validation. Experience with data analytics tools and programming knowledge is required to develop methodologies and validate the model & AI risk. You should be familiar with industry best practices of model risk management and AI fairness & explainability, including model validation, reproducible, statistical & engineering process control, quality assurance, data shift for banking & analytics. Your role will also involve reviewing and validating use cases based on the applicable standards and controls defined for the analytics process. Moreover, you will define the checks & controls required to adhere to AI risk, model governance, and governance standards. Key Responsibilities Strategy - Responsible for governance for model delivery within SCMAC and providing thought leadership to address key issues within the business. Business - Understand AI risk, model governance, and governance related to the data analytics process. - Knowledge of data/feature selection practices and their impact on risks and model development life cycle. - Experience with data analytics tools and programming knowledge. - Familiarity with industry best practices of model risk management and AI fairness & explainability. - Review and validate use cases based on applicable standards and controls. - Define necessary checks & controls to adhere to AI risk and model governance. Processes - Continuously improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. - Manage operational risks and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. People & Talent - Collaborate with team members for better quality and accuracy. - Work in an agile fashion with other teams and support solution development. - Contribute to training sessions for knowledge management. - Foster a collaborative environment within CPBB Banking and across the wider Group. Risk Management - Interpret financial information, identify key issues, and implement controls and measures. - Ensure data security and sharing through secured means, such as SharePoint. Governance - Understand the regulatory framework and requirements relevant to the role. Regulatory & Business Conduct - Display exemplary conduct and adhere to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. - Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines. - Lead by example in achieving the Banks Conduct Principles. Key stakeholders include Group/Region Analytics teams, Product & Segment Teams, Channels/distribution teams, Risk Analytics Teams, Business Teams, and support functions like Finance, Technology, and Analytics Operation. Other Responsibilities - Embed the Group's brand and values. - Perform other assigned responsibilities under Group, Country, Business, or Functional policies and procedures.
