Manager - Systems & Service Engineering

Role Overview: You will be responsible for various engineering activities aimed at providing differentiated services and solutions, such as product evaluation, solution designing, testing, and roll-out planning for both existing and new services. Your role will involve designing tools necessary for the operation of new services and systems. This operational position will require you to deliver results that directly impact day-to-day engineering operations in areas such as Network, SDWAN, Cloud & Security, Unified Collaboration, and Mobility & IoT. Key Responsibilities: - Perform systems engineering tasks for front-end processors, cloud infrastructure, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems. - Ensure timely deployment of system enhancements, migration projects, deployment projects, and optimization projects. - Participate in planning, architecture designing, developing, and testing solutions and service products that operate on the network or span multiple network layers. - Contribute to the development of systems involving storage, load balancers, servers, and routers/switches. - Manage physical connectivity, hardware, and automation tools. - Address and resolve issues escalated by end users. - Integrate with existing systems and carry out service validation before handing over to the Service Operations team. - Provide guidance to the assurance team on measures to reduce fault rate and ticket rate. - Ensure engineering projects are completed within target dates, budget, and agreed scope. - Perform performance tuning and application automation. Qualification Required: Desired Skill Sets: - Experience in system and platform deployment across network layers. - Experience in managing systems such as storage, load balancers, servers, and routers/switches. - Knowledge of emerging network system, application, and technologies. - Understanding of network security and its applications. - Familiarity with network and cloud infrastructure (Compute, Storage, backup, network, security) and application architecture and deployment. - Experience in Backup implementation and operations.,
