Job Description

As the Manager of Medical Information at Azurity Pharmaceuticals, you will play a vital role in the Medical Affairs team. Your responsibilities will include providing clinical and technical product knowledge, managing unsolicited medical information requests, contributing to cross-functional teams, and creating scientific communications. Developing expertise in relevant therapeutic areas will be crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Respond to clinical/medical inquiries from external and internal customers with clinical and technical product knowledge. - Guide the Medical Information Call Center, handle escalated cases, and provide ongoing training to ensure excellent customer service. - Develop and maintain a product knowledge database, including standard response letters (SRLs) and frequently asked questions (FAQ) documents. - Analyze reports and metrics to identify trends, insights, and knowledge gaps. - Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders such as Clinical Development, Commercial, Market Access, Legal, and Regulatory teams. - Review new data regularly to ensure the availability of the most current information in medical information resources. - Collaborate with the broader Medical Affairs team on presentations and knowledge sharing. - Support the Promotional Material Review Committee (PMRC) and Scientific Review Committee (SRC) to ensure accurate provision of medical information. - Assist in coordinating, escalating, and reviewing legal contracts related to Medical Affairs activities. - Perform additional Medical Information-related support and functions as required. Qualifications Required: - An advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, PhD) is preferred, with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. Alternatively, a Masters or bachelor's level degree in health sciences (e.g., RN, RPh, PA, NP, etc.) will be considered. - Minimum of 1 or more years of professional experience in Medical Affairs/Medical Information. - Preference for Medical/Drug Information postdoctoral training/fellowship in specialty OR residency and/or postdoctoral training in a clinical practice/pharmaceutical industry setting.
