Manager, Innovation Analytics

Role Overview: As a Manager of Innovation Analytics at Synchrony, you will be part of the Credit - Innovation Analytics team, contributing to the development of valuable expertise in application/solution development for analytics use cases. Your role will focus on providing full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics through cutting-edge technologies to support business objectives. This individual contributor position is remote, offering you the flexibility to work from home. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and support the development and maintenance of the web-based Analytics Platform initiative. - Provide technology consulting to stakeholders and the team for building analytics solution design and implementation. - Design and build the front end and back end of the analytics platform, reviewing security issues and releasing to production by collaborating with security and release management teams. - Utilize your experience in developing full stack web applications using NodeJS, Flask, and React frameworks. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative field with 2+ years of experience, or 4+ years of experience in the absence of a degree. - Good working knowledge in Python, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML, and MySQL to deliver solutions across JavaScript, Python, and Java tech stacks. - Exposure to MVC design pattern for building applications. - Experience in creating visualizations using D3JS and Chart JS. - Effective communication skills. Desired Skills: - Ability to write ETL scripts to extract data from multiple sources and load into the application database. - Working knowledge of SAS scripts and their execution flow. - Experience in Analytics KPIs in web applications.
