Job Description

Job Title - Technical Expert- Meter, Navigation, Connected Cars, Audio, Antenna for Passenger Cars Technical expertise in infotainment & meter design and development and related Engineering requirements. Expertise in styling part design including graphic design with creative design (vision and listening), color theory, typography and image, virtual reality Technical expertise of design and development requirement and well awareness of relevant Legal requirements and system level functions and Testing. Understanding of Product development process & Project timelines - Experience in engineering Supplier governance. Experience of handling field issues, idea generation & problem solving Strong inter-personal skills to work effectively with Suppliers & cross functional teams across the globe. Awareness of future technological advancement in ADAS is added advantage Understand SW HW requirements for the ECU and the System Strong knowledge of EV system architectures, including battery management systems, motor controllers, VCU,power electronics, charging systems,Telemetry,BT wifi,GPS and LTE Failure Analysis and Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills to perform failure analysis and troubleshooting of EV electronics subsystems. Ability to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and software developers. Ability to convey technical concepts and collaborate on project requirement Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles for electronics systems of the EV MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Leader & Technical expert for ECU & Mechatronics parts Development for Nissan Cars Responsible for Technical Decision Making. - Guide/steer the team members through various Technical maturity milestones. Achieve the highest level of technical maturity for ECU development Team Supplier Governance for various projects and related Suppliers at Nissan Group. Ensure all functional and system level targets are met as per the Component Specifications. Close co-ordination with ECU Team colleagues & cross functional teams at Nissan Group. Take Technical release responsibility for the ECU development with Team topics with CFT. Packaging Study & analysis of responsible parts in the Vehicle - Support team Management to achieve team level targets. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Technical Expert- in infotainment and meter for Passenger Cars Technical expertise in Design & Development and Serial Life Maintenance of infotainment and meter, System Requirements and related Engineering requirements. Strong knowledge of Automotive communication protocols like (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) and diagnostics Understanding of Product development process & Project timelines - Experience in engineering Supplier governance. Experience of handling field issues, idea generation & problem solving Strong inter-personal skills to work effectively with Suppliers & cross functional teams across the globe. Awareness of future technological advancement in ADAS Experienced in MIL, HIL, SIL validation cycle EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor / Masters in Electricla / Electronics and Communication Engineering RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 14 - 20yrs of Industry Experience & 9~12 yrs of relevant experience in infotainment and meter parts Development.
