Job Description

As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for independently managing business proposals end-to-end, collaborating closely with Client Partners, Delivery Leaders, and Services for large deals that require new and complex technical solutions. Your role will involve organizing, planning, and tracking bids, working with various internal teams to prepare compelling proposal responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) that necessitate complex technical solutions across multiple technology elements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end proposals, ensuring the organization, planning, and tracking of bids - Understand customer requirements and business problems to drive pursuit discussions towards developing a winning proposal - Collaborate with internal teams to create a solution narrative and enable the pursuit team to craft a compelling response - Coordinate pursuit discussions with support functions like HR, Legal, and Finance to complete proposal responses on time and with quality - Engage with senior stakeholders within the organization confidently and effectively - Provide regular status updates to sales leadership, highlighting issues and challenges for timely intervention - Finalize bid response documents by formatting and packaging them for submission Measures of Success: - Number of RFPs responded to - Number of RFPs won - Feedback from internal stakeholders - Review and rework required on RFP responses Desired Outputs: - Efficient bid management by organizing, planning, and tracking proposals - Crafting relevant and customized responses for proposals in collaboration with Services and Sales - Ensuring quality of all deliverables through review and sign-off by designated function heads - Managing stakeholder relationships effectively to drive pursuit conversations and define win themes - Fostering teamwork within the proposal team to align with expected differentiators and common goals Required Skills: - Ability to write sales content tailored to client requirements - Proficiency in driving pursuit discussions to define win themes and differentiators for bid success - Strong organizational skills to plan, track, and manage bid activities, collating inputs from various stakeholders Desired Knowledge: - Strong background in Pre-sales - Proficiency in proposal writing - Certifications like APMP will be advantageous Additionally, a deep technical expertise in Data Engineering and Data Science is preferred, with knowledge in areas such as data architectures, ETL/ELT processes, machine learning algorithms, and cloud data platforms. Familiarity with big data technologies and data governance principles will be beneficial for this role. Your role as a Bid Manager will involve a combination of strategic thinking, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and effective communication with stakeholders to drive successful proposal responses and secure new business opportunities.,
