Job Title: Manager - RTR GPO Location: Chennai, India (UK Client Facing Role) Company: Wipro Job Summary: Wipro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager for the Record to Report (RTR) Global Process Owner (GPO) role. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise in both RTR and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes, drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurring issues, and support operations to streamline and simplify processes. This role requires exposure to digital tools implementation, such as BlackLine, and other relevant RTR tools. Additionally, the candidate will review and assess the effectiveness of operational controls and support internal and external audits. The position is client-facing, working closely with our UK-based clients. Key Responsibilities: Domain Expertise: Leverage extensive knowledge in RTR and FP&A processes to provide strategic direction and ensure best practices. Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive CI ideas related to processes, procedures, and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough RCA for issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure non-recurrence of problems. Operational Support: Collaborate with operations teams to simplify and optimize RTR processes, ensuring seamless execution. Digital Tools Implementation: Lead the implementation and optimization of digital tools like BlackLine and other relevant RTR technologies. Operational Controls: Review and assess the effectiveness of operational controls to ensure robust financial processes. Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights. Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for UK-based clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering strong relationships. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align RTR processes with business objectives. Compliance and Governance: Ensure all RTR processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA) - Preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification.
