As a MANAGER, DAAI at HSBC, you will play a key role in executing various analyses and developing strategies to support business decisions across the customer lifecycle for a specific product/market. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing support for analytical/strategy projects. - Completing analysis as required, documenting results, and presenting findings to stakeholders. - Executing moderate to complex analysis and strategy with proper instructions. - Writing efficient codes to process data for the required business problems. - Identifying business problems/new opportunities to drive higher business value and diagnosing and resolving moderate to complex analytical problems. - Providing high-quality analysis and strategy recommendations to business problems. - Managing delivery within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards, driving business benefit through self-initiated projects. - Learning new skills (domain / technical) and applying them to solve business problems as required. - Strictly adhering to the HSBC Core Values. In terms of Management Of Risk/Internal Controls/Compliance, you will be responsible for continually reassessing the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business. This includes adhering to internal controls, compliance policies, and relevant financial services laws, rules, and codes. Regarding Leadership & Teamwork, you will be expected to work effectively in a team environment, coach/train new team members, and share best practices within the team. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude. Knowledge and understanding of financial services/banking operations is preferred. - Knowledge of SAS, SQL, Python, Cloud Technologies, and other equivalent analytical tools & platforms. - Good knowledge of Analytical and ML concepts like modeling, forecasting, segmentation, etc. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation skills.
