Manager Cyber Security

Role:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage:

• Conduct technical security compliance assessments for IT infrastructure areas such as Vulnerability Assessment, Secure Configuration Review, Penetration Testing, Network Security Architecture Review, Firewall Rule Base Reviews, End-point Reviews, and Secure Configuration Document Review.

• Analyze and approve Firewall Rule Base Change Management.

• Review security solutions, end-points, VPNs/Remote Accesses, and virtualization environments.

• Perform Red Team Assessments, Cyber Crisis Table Top Exercises, Cyber Crisis Drills, and manage Cyber Crisis Management Plans.

• Manage vendors for network security and review security reports.

2. Security Tools Operations:

• Breach and Attack Simulation.

• Deception technology.

• Firewall rule base management solution.

3. Security Awareness:

• Develop and execute Cyber Security awareness initiatives, including training programs, workshops, e-mailers, posters, and e-learning modules.

4. Evaluation:

• Evaluate infrastructure security products and monitor software/product implementations.

• Assess Firewall access requests, VPNs, and other remote accesses.

• Review new projects, including Cloud/Digital initiatives, and advise on security practices.

5. Review and Presentation:

• Prepare dashboards and action reports related to IT Network & Cyber Security assessments/reviews.

• Track closure/mitigation of vulnerabilities.

• Present compliance, assessment, and review reports to management and infosec committees.

Critical Competencies:

• Engineering Graduate / Master in Computer Application / Postgraduate in Management.

• 710 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Information Security.

• CEH certification preferred.

• CCNA / CCNP Security / CCSA certification is an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge in secure network implementation, firewall rules, IDS, IPS, IT Infrastructure Security, and Audit.

• Chief Information Security Officer.

• IT and Business Department Team Leads/Managers.

• Information Security Service Providers.

Measures of Success:

• Successful implementation of Information Security Programs and infrastructure risk mitigation.

• Timely reporting and closure of identified security risks.

• Completion of compliance testing and firewall rule base reviews within defined timelines.
