Manager Business Consulting

As a Manager - Business Consulting at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in providing analytical support to Global / Regional business teams across risk operations analytics, product analytics, and customer journey and experience. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting Data Quality Analysis and exploratory data analysis to identify appropriate datasets for analytics use cases. - Developing data-based approaches to business problems through descriptive and predictive analytics. - Performing Trend Analysis and creating Dashboards using Visualization techniques primarily on Qliksense. - Executing projects and analysis within agreed timelines, ensuring accuracy and quality. - Producing high-quality data and reports to support process improvements, decision-making, and achievement of performance targets. - Leading Business Intelligence / analytical initiatives in alignment with business objectives, utilizing structured and unstructured data sources. - Understanding business requirements to produce, automate, analyze, and interpret analysis reports, supporting compliance and regulatory requirements. - Ensuring adherence to compliance policies, data security, AML, operational risk, and other business standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5 years of experience in the data analytics industry, with knowledge of banking and financial services preferred. - Bachelor's or master's degree from a reputed university in Engineering, Economics, Maths, or Stats. - Expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, Pyspark, and Excel, along with proficiency in Qlik Sense and Power BI for visualization. - Strong storytelling skills to showcase analysis using engaging visuals. - Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to connect business domain with data for multiple use cases. - Good written and spoken communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts and ideas to business stakeholders. - Ability to work in cross-functional teams, strong interpersonal skills, and a drive for success. - Independent work ethic with high motivation to support Global teams with demanding work hours. - Analytical thought process and problem-solving aptitude.
