The Front Office Executive serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors entering the hospital. They are responsible for managing front desk operations including patient registration, appointment scheduling, handling inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth administrative support and excellent customer service in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
Manage patient registration, admission, and discharge processes accurately.
Schedule and confirm appointments with doctors or diagnostic departments.
Handle incoming phone calls, provide information, and route calls to the appropriate departments.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality as per hospital policies and legal standards.
Collect payments, issue receipts, and maintain daily billing and cash records.
Coordinate with medical, nursing, and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
Maintain cleanliness and order at the reception area.
Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory of front office supplies.
Handle patient complaints or direct them to the appropriate person for resolution.
