Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The Maintenance Junior Engineer is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of all machinery and utility systems by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. This role ensures machine reliability and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.

Breakdown Maintenance:

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, or control issues on production and utility equipment.

Preventive Maintenance:

Execute preventive maintenance activities as per the approved maintenance schedule.
Ensure timely servicing and part replacement to prevent unexpected equipment failures.

Weekly Equipment Checks:

Conduct routine weekly inspections of all shop floor machines.
Identify signs of wear, misalignment, or malfunction, and report or resolve issues as needed.

Utility Equipment Maintenance and Operation:

Operate and maintain utility systems such as air compressors, chillers, boilers, and HVAC systems.
Monitor performance and ensure reliable operation of all utilities supporting production.

Documentation and Compliance:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs, checklists, and ISO documentation.
Ensure all activities are compliant with ISO and internal quality standards.

Plant Maintenance:

Assist in maintaining overall plant infrastructure including lighting, plumbing, ventilation, and civil structures.
