Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance & Repair

• Perform

  preventive and corrective maintenance

  on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair

  motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems

  , and other machinery.
• Troubleshoot

  electrical issues

  , including wiring, control panels, sensors, and circuit components.
• Repair or replace defective parts using tools, manuals, and schematics.
  

2. Electrical Work

• Install, maintain, and repair

  electrical systems

  , including panels, breakers, switches, and power distribution.
• Read and interpret

  electrical drawings, PLC diagrams

  , and wiring schematics.
• Assist in troubleshooting

  automation and control systems

  .

3. Mechanical Work

• Maintain and repair

  gearboxes, bearings, shafts, belts, and mechanical assemblies

  .
• Work with

  hydraulics and pneumatics

  , including cylinders, valves, and pipelines.
• Perform mechanical alignments, lubrication, and adjustments.
  

4. Preventive Maintenance

• Execute PM schedules and document activities.
  
• Inspect equipment to detect wear, leakages, or abnormalities and take corrective actions.
  
• Recommend improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
  

5. Safety & Compliance

• Follow all

  safety procedures

  , including lockout/tagout (LOTO).
• Ensure all work complies with

  electrical standards

  and company policies.
• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
  

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  
• Report equipment failures and recommended solutions.
  
• Assist in inventory management of spare parts.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in

  Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics

Experience

• 2-5 years

  of experience in industrial maintenance
• Experience with both

  electrical and mechanical systems

  is required.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of

  electrical circuits, motors, PLC basics

  , and industrial wiring.
• Good understanding of

  mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics

  , and rotating equipment.
• Ability to interpret

  technical manuals, drawings, and schematics

  .
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Familiarity with

  maintenance tools and equipment

  .

• Ability to work independently and in teams.
  
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to equipment breakdowns.
  
• Good communication and reporting skills.
