Job Description

Role: Mainframe MQ Admin

Exp: 7-15yrs

Location: Bangalore/ Mumbai

Notice Period: 0-30days

Experience in IBM MQ product installation, upgrades, maintenance, configurations and troubleshooting.
Expertise in administrating, alert setup and monitoring the message process using tools like MQ explorer, Omegamon for MQ and TEPS.
Design the MQ architecture pattern for the message processing flow as per the new application requirement
Defining the MQ objects queues, channel, process definition, Topic, etc .
Skilled at executing IBM MQ utilities to handle the MQ queue messages(backup, deleting a particular records etc..)

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Define and provide guidance for database creation, configuration, upgrade, patches and refresh requirementsRecommend operating system and database performance monitoring, tuning and configuration changesExperience with database physical and logical design, query analysis and optimizationProvide technical assistance and subject matter expertise to applications groups. Provide database storage management and capacity management recommendations
