Job Location: Bangalore Experience: 5 - 8 yrs Job Type: FTE Note: Looking only for Immediate to 1 week joiners. Must be comfortable for Video discussion. JD Key Skills: Mainframe Developer, COBOL> 6, TSO, Endevor, CICS, JCL, DB2 and Spufi The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe applications, primarily using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and other related technologies. You will work closely with business analysts and other developers to implement high-quality and efficient solutions for business needs. Key Responsibilities: Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2. Maintain and enhance existing mainframe applications. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform impact analysis, code reviews, and unit testing. Participate in system integration and user acceptance testing. Troubleshoot production issues and provide support as needed. Document technical designs and operational procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams. Profile 5 to 7 Years of experience. Professional experience in Mainframe COBOL, IBM z / OS tools. Ability to analyze existing applications code and to create with working flow documentation. Ability to establish a technical test book. Ability to understand and take ownership of a DB2 data model.
