Key Responsibilities: Create and develop garment patterns using CAD software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, or similar). Prepare accurate technical flat sketches and detailed garment specifications. Modify existing patterns and layouts for new styles or size ranges. Work closely with designers, merchandisers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy. Assist in grading and marker making to minimize fabric wastage. Create print and embroidery placements and layouts for garments. Maintain and organize CAD pattern libraries and archives. Review samples and provide inputs on pattern correction and fitting. Requirements: Proven experience as a Garment CAD Designer or Pattern Maker. Proficiency in CAD software such as Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, Tukatech, etc. Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes. Ability to read and interpret fashion sketches, tech packs, and measurement charts. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or related field.
