Magazine Designer

As an experienced Magazine Designer, you will be responsible for designing and laying out full print and digital magazines using Adobe InDesign. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you assemble content, images, and advertisements into visually compelling publications. Collaboration with editorial and project management teams is essential to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Maintaining consistency in style, layout, and branding across all issues is key, as is proofreading to ensure accurate content presentation. Additionally, you will prepare print-ready and digital-ready files, source or recommend images and graphics, and implement layout changes based on feedback. Your qualifications should include 24 years of professional experience in magazine or editorial design, advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, and familiarity with other Adobe tools like Photoshop and Illustrator. A strong visual sense, attention to detail, understanding of editorial layout standards, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently are required. Fluency in English for communication and the ability to work from the Ahmedabad office are also necessary. Desirable skills include experience in designing social media posts. This contract-based role in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, offers working hours from 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The salary range is 30,000 - 40,000 INR per month.
