Role Overview MadHouse is looking for an enthusiastic Events and Marketing Intern to support planning, organising, and promoting our dance socials and workshops. This part-time, on-site role offers hands-on experience in event execution and marketing, with flexibility for remote tasks during the week. You’ll work closely with the team, coordinate with partners, support promotions, and help ensure smooth, well-run events. Key Responsibilities • Assist in planning and organising weekly events and workshops • Coordinate with team members, collaborators, and venue partners • Support event marketing across social media platforms • Engage with clients and attendees, ensuring a positive experience • Help with sales and outreach where required • Provide on-ground support during events • Contribute ideas and take ownership of assigned tasks Person Specification • Strong communication and customer service skills • Basic understanding of event planning and event marketing • Familiarity with sales or client outreach is a plus • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Prior event coordination experience is an advantage • Understanding of AV setups is desirable • Ability to create and edit social media content • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn • Someone looking to build a career in events or marketing • Flexible with working patterns and comfortable handling responsibility Work Schedule • On-site every Tuesday, 7 PM to 11 PM • Remaining work can be completed remotely • Training and mentorship provided • Full ownership of tasks will be given to help develop real-world skills
