Machine shop incharge

As the Machine Shop Incharge, your role will involve overseeing the operations and management of the shop floor. You will be responsible for optimizing processes, ensuring quality assurance, maintaining tools, managing manpower, and planning and reporting on the shop's performance. Your continuous improvement initiatives will be crucial in enhancing the overall efficiency and productivity of the shop. Key Responsibilities: - Manage shop floor operations effectively - Optimize processes to enhance productivity - Ensure quality assurance standards are met - Maintain tools and equipment for smooth operations - Manage manpower efficiently - Plan and report on shop performance - Drive continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Required: - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering - Certification in CNC Programming or Production Management preferred In addition to your technical skills, you should have hands-on experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controls. A strong understanding of tooling, fixtures, GD&T, and machining cycles is essential. Your leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills will be valuable in this role. Experience in managing both high-mix, low-volume, and mass production setups will be advantageous. The company provides benefits such as food and leave encashment.
