Machine Shop CAM Programming Head

As a Sliding Head Multi-axis Programming specialist, your role will involve writing, developing, and optimizing CNC programs on SLIDING HEAD machines using CAM software. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and optimizing complex CNC programs on Multi-axis (>6axis) machines using CAM software for new part development. - Reviewing and validating technical drawings, conducting feasibility studies, analyzing design specifications, blueprints, and production requirements to determine the feasibility of precision machining components in terms of tooling, machining processes, and manufacturing cycle times. - Developing and optimizing complex CNC programs for new parts development on Multi-axis machines, Turn Mill, VMC, 3-axis/5-axis machining centers, Multi-axis sliding Head using CAM software (Espirit). - Selection of appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding devices for each machining operation. The ideal candidate for this role should have: - 12-15 years of experience on Sliding Head machines (Star/Tsugami/Citizen/Tornos machines) with low tolerances of up to even < 5 microns. - Ability to write complex programs and provide end-to-end solutions from the concept stage to development including tools & fixture selection. - In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and machining process optimization analysis. - Working knowledge of ESPIRIT or any CAM software. The annual remuneration for this position is 25LPA.
