Job Description

We are hiring Machine operator Location - Bellary, Karnataka JD - Skilled and experienced Manpower operator to manage and oversee the field operations of Coke Oven Gas Compressors. This role involves handling gas compressors, liquid seal pots, cooling towers, valve operations, Control room coordination, housekeeping, field operations, logbook updates, maintenance activities, handover/changeover, and line flushing. They should ensure the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of these systems, maintaining optimal performance in alignment with our production goals. Key Responsibilities: Operation and Monitoring: •Operate and monitor coke oven gas compressors, ensuring parameters such as pressure, temperature, level and flow rates are within safe and efficient operating ranges. •Conduct routine checks on gas compressor systems to detect and rectify any anomalies. Handling of Liquid Seal Pots and Cooling Towers: •Monitor and maintain liquid seal pots to ensure they are operating correctly, preventing gas leaks and maintaining system integrity. •Oversee the operation of cooling towers, ensuring optimal cooling of process fluids and maintaining required temperatures and pressure. •Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance of liquid seal pots and cooling towers, including cleaning and refilling as necessary. Valve Operations: •Perform regular valve checks and operations, including opening, closing, and adjusting valves to regulate gas flow and pressure. •Ensure all valve operations are performed safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures. PLC / SCADA Coordination: •Work closely with the PLC / SCADA to monitor and control plant operations. •Respond to alarms and alerts from the PLC / SCADA, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly. •Communicate with the control room to coordinate operations and ensure smooth workflow.
