We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman with at least 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and drafting. The ideal candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks , with a solid understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and engineering drawings , including sheet metal, machining, and welding components . Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Develop fabrication and assembly drawings for manufacturing and production. Ensure all drawings and designs adhere to industry standards and internal specifications. Maintain proper records of all drawings and design documents. Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement purposes. Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications . Required Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks . Strong knowledge of fabrication processes , including sheet metal, machining, and welding. Ability to create precise and comprehensive engineering drawings. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Familiarity with Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation tasks. Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
