As a business analyst, you play a crucial role in determining the organization's needs and finding the best solutions to meet those needs. You will act as a liaison between the business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements and specifications. Your understanding of the technical constraints and challenges allows you to convey them back to the business in understandable terms. Your expertise in coordinating with various service areas such as design, development, content, and e-commerce is essential to bring all elements together for the success of web projects. By keeping all teams updated on progress and identifying potential integration issues, you ensure a smooth workflow. A separate project manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the project plan. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts, UI designers, and web developers to implement solutions discussed in meetings. Your responsibilities include developing functional requirements, creating workflows, and designing mock-ups for web sites and applications. Strong communication skills are vital as you interact with team members and vendors to establish a rapport. Your experience in defining requirements, preparing specification documents, and identifying solutions will contribute to meeting business objectives and creating a successful web application. To excel in this position, you should have experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, web design, and development. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, UI/UX experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals are essential. Your strong analytical, written communication, and presentation skills will be valuable assets in this role.
