Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Energy Audit Engineer to lead and support energy efficiency initiatives across our integrated steel plant operations in Raipur. The candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive energy audits, identifying energy-saving opportunities, analyzing energy data, and recommending actionable solutions to optimize energy consumption across all plant units including , DRI, steel melting shops, rolling mills, utility systems , Ferro Alloys & Captive Power Plant Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed energy audits across steel plant units (e.g., rolling mills, furnaces, compressors, etc.) Utilize portable energy audit instruments (e.g., flue gas analyzers, ultrasonic flow meters, power analyzers, thermal imagers, lux meters, etc.) to collect data Analyze energy consumption trends and identify areas for energy savings and process efficiency Prepare comprehensive audit reports, cost-benefit analyses, and action plans Coordinate with maintenance, production, and utility teams to implement recommendations Monitor post-audit performance and verify savings Ensure compliance with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and other regulatory requirements Assist in preparing documentation for ISO 50001 Energy Management System (if applicable) Stay updated with the latest developments in energy efficiency technologies and tools Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Energy Engineering (Masters preferred). Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or BEE Accredited Energy Auditor is preferred. 3+ years of experience in energy audits or energy management in steel or heavy process industry. Key Skills & Competencies Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field (Postgraduate preferred) 3 to 7 years of experience in energy audits in a heavy industry/steel plant Strong knowledge of energy systems in thermal and electrical domains Proficiency in handling portable audit instruments and interpreting data Certification as an Energy Auditor (BEE Certified) preferred Good analytical, report writing, and communication skills Familiarity with energy management software tools is an added advantage Interested Candidates can connect me on -recruitment@vandanaglobal.com / 9109183990 Preferred candidate profile
