With a wide range of games targeting key areas such as Memory, Attention, Processing Speed, and Reasoning, Lumosity provides a daily mental workout on web and mobile platforms. As Lumosity expands its mission, the company is venturing into digital medicine by developing programs aimed at treating cognitive and neurological conditions, with the upcoming launch of a digital therapeutic product for adult ADHD. In preparation for significant growth in 2025, Lumos Labs is focusing on launching new personalized brain training experiences, obtaining regulatory clearance for the ADHD digital therapeutic, and expanding research collaborations. We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Unity game developer with at least 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of launching Unity games in production environments and be proficient in C# programming. You should have a strong focus on performance optimization, the ability to develop testable and efficient code, and collaborate effectively with game designers and scientists to enhance our game catalog through dynamic difficulty systems. Key Responsibilities: - Drive the development and maintenance of our Unity-based games. - Focus on performance optimization by developing testable, reusable, and efficient code. - Collaborate closely with game designers and the science department to develop games and enrich the current game catalog. - Implement dynamic difficulty systems to match players" skill levels while minimizing content creation costs. - Advocate for clear documentation and distribution of architectural choices and processes. - Contribute to shaping and maintaining our culture by suggesting improvements to processes and technologies. - Mentor junior game engineers and actively share knowledge with the team. Who You Are: - Have a consistent track record of creating and launching Unity-based games in production. - Strong programming background in C#. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. - Proficiency with source control systems like git. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Curious, self-sufficient, and well-organized. - Good time management skills.
