Role Description This is a research-focused internship opportunity for M.A./M.Sc. Psychology students specializing in Industrial-Organizational (IO) Psychology or Applied Psychology at L&T EduTech, based in Chennai. As a Psychometrics Intern, you will contribute to the research and development of cutting-edge behavioural psychometric tools for educational and professional assessments. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about applying psychological research to design and validate innovative assessment solutions. Key Responsibilities Conduct research to support the development and validation of behavioural psychometric tools. Assist in designing, testing, and refining assessment items using psychometric principles. Analyse data to evaluate tool reliability, validity, and fairness. Document research findings and contribute to technical reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate psychometric tools into educational platforms. Qualifications Current enrolment in or recent completion of a Master’s program in Psychology (IO Psychology, Applied Psychology, or related fields). Strong understanding of psychological testing and psychometric principles. Research-oriented mindset with experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies. Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, or Python) is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting research findings. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Prior experience in test development or psychometric research is an advantage but not mandatory. Why Join Us?
