Do you want to work: on environmental, social and governance issues with an amazing team of like-minded creative thinkers in a fast-paced dynamic environment for some of the biggest and most forward-looking brands in the world Key Responsibilities: Proactively conduct the social compliance audits, factory security audits and other special audit in a timely and professional manner in accordance with Company and Client s requirement. Timely provide and submit the comprehensive assessment audit report, relevant documents, data and photograph with accuracy. Maintain knowledge of LRQA social compliance assessment procedures and local labor laws; Effective internal communication with the Compliance Specialist and other team members to facilitate effectiveness and work efficiently and provide timely support and explanation if necessary. Maintain knowledge of LRQA social compliance assessment procedures ILO and local labor laws. Audit the manufacturing sites of our clients suppliers, sometimes without warning. Your areas of attention will include labor rights, health and safety, environmental security, and others, according to the applicable international standard or the client s in-house procedure. Assist to collect and update the relevant knowledge of the industry/labor law/ social compliance/security regulation and procedures and share with team members. Adhere to all company policies relating to integrity and confidentiality of information. Committed to the Company s core values and the requirement of Code of Ethics , actively report the bribery case or accident may violation with the integrity and Code of Ethics (eg. Gifts from factory, red packets etc.). The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following: Degree in a major of Law, HR, Occupational Health and Safety or Environment / an advanced degree is preferred Customer service orientation and results orientated, strong business acumen Effective problem solving and negotiation skills Good command of English verbal and written, communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet-research /reporting/analysis tools Maintains a global perspective and is culturally sensitive and aware Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics. Comfortable with confrontation, with a diplomatic and easy demeanour Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment with persons of varying socio-economic status Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in social compliance & CTPAT auditing is preferred with at least 200 social compliance audit days (verifiable) APSCA Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) is preferred SA8000 Auditor Certification, RBA, BSCI Certification, Higg or equivalent is a plus Possess knowledge of International and local labor standards and human rights issues are preferred Frequent travel in domestic and occasional travel to overseas as required.
