Job Title: Senior Advisor- Student Counselling Location: Hyderabad, Gachibowli Job Type: Full Time ( Hybrid- 2 days work from Office) Company: [Alpha1 Learnings] Industry: Education / EdTech / Training & Development Experience: 3 to 10 years experience CTC : As per the Industry Standards Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and empathetic Senior Advisor- Student Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students through course selections, addressing academic or personal concerns, and helping them make informed career decisions. Your role is crucial in creating a positive learning experience and driving admissions success. Key Responsibilities: Counsel prospective students and parents through calls, walk-ins, emails, and WhatsApp regarding courses, fees, and career outcomes. Understand the student's profile, interests, and goals to recommend suitable programs. Conduct admission interviews and follow up to ensure successful enrollments. Maintain regular communication with students before and after enrollment. Maintain and update CRM systems with student interactions and conversion progress. Collaborate with academic and marketing teams to ensure smooth onboarding and student satisfaction. Organize and participate in webinars, orientation sessions, and other student engagement activities. Provide emotional and academic support to students when needed. Requirements: Bachelors degree (Education, Psychology, or relevant field preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages. Strong interpersonal and listening skills. Confident, friendly, and student-first attitude. Prior experience in counselling, sales, or academic advising is a plus. Knowledge of EdTech or upskilling programs (preferred but not mandatory).
