Role & responsibilities 1) Create a culture of Safety by maintaining the companys safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA); ISO 9001, ISO 14001 AND ISO 45001 rules and regulations. 2) Plan and implement programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practices, injury prevention, fire prevention, and correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment, and other safety related items. 3) Inspects Company facilities and projects to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented. 4) Handle all OSHA related issues such as inspections, yearly reports, job site posters, citations, hearings, etc. Performs field safety audits to ensure compliance with all OSHA, State, Local and company safety rules and regulations. 5) Handling all legal, local and governmental organization related to safety. Handling all liasioning, governmental and legal documentation and coordination with local and state entities. 6) Heading and handling safety audits and ISO Audits related to safety issues. 7) Heading and Handling ERT Team and Process all over the organization. 8) Compile the monthly safety tracking data report for management. Produces other safety reports as needed. 9) Completes all accident/injury/incident reporting and performs investigations to determine cause and possible preventive measures for future work of a similar nature. Further investigates all injury claims to ensure company is protected from fraudulent worker compensation claims. 10) Manages the transitional return to work program for injured workers. 11) Maintain/Administer safety and accident records, files, trainings, Activity Hazard Reports (AHAs) and safety tracking reports like company SDS manuals, safety manual, emergency management plan and loss control manual. 12) Assemble and manage site specific safety plans when required. 13) Recommend and enforce disciplinary actions against safety policy violators. Preferred candidate profile Required Skills/Certifications: Risk Management, Safety Trainer, OSHA, OHSAS, Regulatory Compliance, Safety Manager related certification. Other Requirements: Shall be well connected in the industry and Local/State regulatory bodies Shall be able to lead a team of Minimum 5 Persons.
