Role: AI Engineer Intern Company: Lomaa IT Solutions Location: Visakhapatnam Employment Type: Internship (Full-time during internship) Compensation: Paid Internship Role Summary: As an AI Intern at Lomaa IT Solutions, you will get practical experience building and integrating AI-powered applications. You will work on projects involving large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and API integrations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to production-level AI solutions that solve real business problems. Key Responsibilities • Assist in designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions. • Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques with vector databases • Work with Gen AI models for tasks such as text generation and chatbot development. • Integrate third-party APIs including (WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Gmail). • Fine-tune and optimize LLMs (eg., GPT, LLaMA, Gemini, Claude, Mistral) for performance in real-time applications. • Collaborate with the team to write clean, maintainable, and scalable Python code. • Research and experiment with the latest AI and GenAI advancements. Minimum Qualifications • Strong programming skills in Python. • Experience with FastAPI, MySQL, and MongoDB. • Familiarity with LLMs and RAG implementations. • Understanding of vector databases and API integrations. • Understanding of prompt engineering, and shot-based prompting(zero-shot, one-shot, few-shot). Nice To Have (Optional) • Knowledge of fine-tuning language models is a strong advantage. • Hands-on experience with AI projects (personal, academic, or hackathons)
