We are looking for a passionate and driven Design Engineer with a background in plastic engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate should have up to 2 years of experience and must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced product development environment. Role & responsibilities : Assist in the design and development of plastic components for consumer and industrial products Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks, with a focus on surface modeling Collaborate with senior designers and engineers on concept development & prototyping Participate in design views and make iterative improvements based on feedback Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible and production-ready Desired profile:- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Plastic Engineering, or related field 0-2 years of relevant experience in plastic product design Proficiency in surface modeling using SolidWorks is a must Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Positive attitude, curiosity, and enthusiasm to learn new tools, methods, and technologies. Exposure to injection molding processes and DFM (Design for Manufacturing). Basic knowledge of prototyping techniques Additional knowledge/Interest in Product design or similar background will have more advantage
