Key Responsibilities: Manage, configure, and monitor Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, Alma Linux, Debian, RHEL). Install, configure, and maintain the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP). Set up and troubleshoot FTP servers (vsftpd, proftpd, or pure-ftpd). Perform user management, permissions, and security hardening on Linux systems. Monitor system performance, disk usage, CPU, memory, and optimize accordingly. Handle software updates, patch management, and system upgrades. Configure firewall rules (iptables, firewalld, ufw) and secure remote access (SSH). Perform backup and restore operations using rsync, tar, cron, or third-party tools. Implement and maintain web hosting environments with virtual hosts, SSL, and domains. Troubleshoot issues related to web servers (Apache), databases (MySQL), and PHP apps. Configure and manage cron jobs, log rotation, and automation scripts (bash/shell). Printer configuration and troubleshooting. Required Skills: Installation of Linux and Windows OS and its application software. Strong knowledge of Linux OS internals and shell scripting. Hands-on experience with FTP server setup and troubleshooting. Proficiency in Apache, MySQL, and PHP installation and tuning. Familiar with network troubleshooting tools (ping, netstat, traceroute). Understanding of DNS, SSL certificates, and basic hosting concepts. Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or basic shell monitoring scripts).
