We are a 3D Character Art studio working with top AAA game developers. Our focus is on delivering high-quality work efficiently and reliably. We’re hiring a Junior to Mid-Level System Administrator for a full-time, in-office role at our Hyderabad studio. In this role, you’ll help maintain our IT systems, support tools like Perforce and Unreal Engine, and assist the team with day-to-day technical needs. This position is ideal for someone with basic IT and scripting knowledge, a strong interest in game development tech, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: System Support: Assist with maintaining and monitoring servers, workstations, and networking devices to ensure smooth daily operations. User Assistance: Provide basic technical support to team members for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Tool Support: Help manage Perforce and Unreal Engine setups under senior team guidance. Routine Admin Tasks: Handle regular tasks like user account setup, system updates, and data backups; support automation using basic scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Security & Backup: Follow IT security protocols, assist in managing antivirus/firewall systems, and support backup procedures. Asset Management: Maintain records of IT hardware and software assets; help ensure systems are current and functional. Documentation: Support the team in keeping technical documentation up to date. Team Collaboration: Work with other departments to support production needs and remote collaboration tools. Skill Development: Actively learn new tools and practices by working closely with senior IT staff. Vendor Support: Assist in coordinating with external vendors for IT purchases or service calls, as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 0–3 years of experience in system administration, preferably within the CG industry. Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and basic network administration. Exposure to tools such as Perforce and Unreal Engine is preferred. Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and interest in automation is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
