The Karmapa Center of Education, a project of South Asia Buddhist Association, seeks a dedicated and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our esteemed boarding school. Spanning across 10 acres, our school offers a unique educational concept that introduces students to Buddhism, follows the CISCE curriculum, and emphasizes individualized learning using Western teaching methods. As a PGT English Teacher, you will be responsible for imparting English language and literature knowledge to students up to grade 10. The ideal candidate should hold a Graduation and Post Graduation in English Language and Literature with a mandatory B.Ed qualification, along with 5 to 7 years of teaching experience in a reputed ICSE school. Proficiency in spoken and written English, as well as in utilizing digital tools and smart classroom technology, is essential for this role. Key responsibilities include developing engaging lesson plans tailored to students" diverse learning needs, creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation, assessing student progress through various evaluation methods, and staying updated on the latest developments in English teaching pedagogy. Strong communication, presentation skills, innovation, adaptability, and willingness to participate in extracurricular activities are crucial attributes we seek in potential candidates.
