As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining workstation hardware, software, and infrastructure management and upgrades. Your duties will include monitoring infrastructure for security, compliance, audit, data loss prevention, and endpoint protection. You will provide desktop support to users in both office and remote locations and monitor and respond to end-user security incidents promptly. You will be tasked with performing software updates, patches, and license monitoring and management, as well as working with Microsoft Active Directory. Your expertise in physical and virtual server installation, configuration, and monitoring will be crucial for this role. It is essential that you possess knowledge of network devices such as switches and firewalls, understand network security concepts, and have the ability to manage, configure, and maintain them according to corporate security and administration standards. Your quick learning abilities will be required to implement new technologies and troubleshoot issues effectively. Your responsibilities will also include providing user support for hardware and software issues, troubleshooting IT-related problems, handling Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Office 2021/2024, and other office/business software. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all company IT assets, applications, software, and hardware, including workstations, printers, scanners, peripheral devices, mobile devices, networking equipment, servers, phone systems, and related hardware.
