Linux Support Engineer Job

About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Diagnose and troubleshoot server-level issues efficiently and effectively 2. Deliver excellent customer support via email/helpdesk, and live chat 3. Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, incident response, and monitoring systems to proactively identify potential issues 4. Deploy, automate, support, and troubleshoot services 5. Review and analyze systems logs (events logs, error logs, audit logs, security logs, etc.) 6. Migrate applications (Magento & WordPress) from one cloud to another 7. Build, operate, and support AWS and other cloud environments 8. Write, update, and enhance technical documentation 9. Provide periodic reports regarding maintenance and upgrade activities to clients Requirements: 1. Experience as a hosting support specialist or in a similar role 2. Experience serving customers across time zones 3. Must have experience with Linux-based servers & virtualization 4. Have technical awareness and the ability to quickly understand new technologies 5. Experience with WordPress/Magento deployment, optimization, and support 6. Experience with Virtualmin, cPanel, and Plesk control panels 7.
