Linux + Kernel Developer

You are an experienced Linux Kernel Developer with a strong background in Linux kernel module development, driver integration, and Yocto-based customization for real-time and embedded applications. Your role will involve collaborating with hardware, firmware, and software teams to create robust embedded Linux solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel modules and device drivers - Build and customize embedded Linux distributions using the Yocto Project - Perform hardware and signal-level debugging - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement embedded features - Automate development/testing workflows using Bash or Python scripting - Debug OS-level issues and optimize performance on embedded platforms Required Skills - Strong experience with Linux kernel development and device drivers - Expertise with Yocto Project (meta layers, recipes, image customization) - Solid understanding of real-time embedded systems - Proficiency in hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) - Deep understanding of OS internals (memory, scheduling, IPC) - Scripting knowledge: Bash, Python, or similar Preferred Qualifications - Experience with board bring-up and BSP development - Familiarity with Git or other version control systems - Exposure to CI/CD tools used in embedded environments In addition to the technical responsibilities, you may be involved in board bring-up, BSP development, and CI/CD tools used in embedded environments. Please note that this is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana. You should have at least 3 years of experience in Linux kernel development.
