Linux + Kernel Developer

As an experienced Linux Kernel Developer, you will be joining our embedded systems team in Hyderabad. Your role will primarily involve developing Linux kernel modules, integrating drivers, and customizing Yocto-based solutions for real-time and embedded applications. Collaboration with hardware, firmware, and software teams will be essential in creating robust embedded Linux solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel modules and device drivers - Build and customize embedded Linux distributions using Yocto Project - Perform hardware and signal-level debugging - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement embedded features - Automate development/testing workflows using Bash or Python scripting - Debug OS-level issues and optimize performance on embedded platforms Qualifications Required: - Strong experience with Linux kernel development and device drivers - Expertise with Yocto Project (meta layers, recipes, image customization) - Solid understanding of real-time embedded systems - Proficiency in hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) - Deep understanding of OS internals (memory, scheduling, IPC) - Scripting knowledge: Bash, Python, or similar In addition to the above, experience with board bring-up, BSP development, Git, CI/CD tools, and a willingness to relocate to Hyderabad would be advantageous for this role.,
