Linux Delivery Engineer

Role Overview: You will be taking on the role of a Linux Delivery Engineer at Ssquad Global. Your main responsibilities will include deploying and securing Linux servers in both on-premises and cloud environments, managing network configurations, and providing L2-level troubleshooting and support. As a Linux Delivery Engineer, you will be tasked with deploying servers, implementing security measures, and assisting application teams with post-deployment tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy and secure Linux servers in on-premises and cloud environments - Manage network configurations - Provide L2-level troubleshooting and support - Create templates for new server setups - Implement security hardening measures - Assist application teams with post-deployment tasks such as user account creation, filesystem setup, and software installation - Modify and manage DNS, DHCP, and Proxy PAC settings - Configure SMTP/Mail Relay settings - Prepare OS-level handover documentation - Ensure software and tooling compliance - Integrate with TPAM systems - Offer L2-level support for server-related incidents Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred) - 4-5 years of experience as an L2 Engineer Additional Company Details: The working hours are aligned with the Australian Time Zone (AU Shift). The position is open for immediate joiners and is initially set for a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. This is a full-time contractual position with a salary range of 5LPA to 6.5LPA. The work location can be in Malaysia or Bangalore, India, with the option for remote work.
