JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Line Coordinator is responsible for the operational management of school’s timetabling function, including the scheduling of classes, arranging substitution and making sure that the teachers get equal number of classes. Should be able to identify improvement opportunities and implement dynamic solutions to existing issues. This role requires excellent organizational ability in all aspects of operational planning and timetable production.

Key Responsibilities:

• To produce, deliver and maintain the school’s timetable
• To collect and interpret timetable data
• To maintain and adapt the school’s timetable to adjust to internal and external requirements and pressures if and when required;
• To ensure the arrangement of proper substitution in the absence of teachers and that the classes are not left unattended
• To anticipate and work to prevent timetable-related problems;
• To identify and resolve difficulties in relation to student and/or staff timetables;
• To ensure timetable data, including classes and resources, are accurate, complete and available to all concerned parties;

Requirements:

• Should have excellent English communication skills
• Substantial experience in similar or related roles. At least 2-3 years of experience in a school environment.
• The ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date data.
• Should be very fast and skilled using Microsoft Excel and other MS products; should have good multi-tasking ability
• Should have an innovative and creative approach to problem solving. Should be soft spoken, sharp, decisive and diplomatic. Should be able to execute the changes made in the timetable effectively.
• Should be flexible to work after school hours or during day offs (if necessary)
• Should be able to maintain a healthy professional relationship with teachers and colleagues.
• The ability to work with a high level of accuracy and take a solution-focused approach at all times
• The ability to work methodically and on their own initiative, prioritizing and managing time effectively
• The ability to analyze and present data in an accurate and informative manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
