We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team, operating a pilot vessel in the busy waters of Sikka Port and Terminals. Role and Responsibilities: As Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all machinery and systems onboard the pilot vessel. Your duties will include managing the engine room, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and troubleshooting any mechanical issues that arise. You will also be in charge of maintaining a complete inventory of spare parts and supplies to ensure the vessel's readiness at all times. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will hold a Class 4 (NCV/FG) certificate of competency and have a minimum of six months of experience in a similar role on a pilot vessel or a comparable craft. We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual with a strong understanding of marine engineering principles, a proactive approach to maintenance, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
