Job Description: Area Sales Manager – Project Lighting (Infrastructure & Government Projects) Department: Sales & Business Development Reports to: Regional Sales Head / National Sales Head Role Overview We are seeking dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Managers with proven experience in project lighting sales, particularly within infrastructure and government projects. The role involves managing end-to-end sales cycles, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and driving business growth in assigned territories. Key Responsibilities Identify, develop, and close business opportunities in infrastructure, government, and large-scale lighting projects. Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, EPC contractors, consultants, architects, and key project stakeholders. Drive sales targets for the assigned region and ensure consistent revenue growth. Track tenders, prepare techno-commercial proposals, and participate in bidding processes. Collaborate with internal teams (design, commercial, and execution) to deliver customized lighting solutions. Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence for strategic planning. Ensure timely collections and maintain compliance with company policies. Candidate Profile Education: Graduate (preferably in Engineering / Electrical / Electronics) or MBA in Marketing/Sales. Experience: 5–10 years in project lighting sales, with a focus on infrastructure/government sector. Strong connect with PWD, Smart City projects, Railways, Airport Authorities, and Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) is preferred. Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets in B2G and large-scale project environments. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Ability to work independently with a results-driven approach.
