Life Insurance Agent

• Lead Generation and Prospecting: Actively seeking out and contacting potential customers through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies to build a client base.
• Client Consultation and Needs Assessment: Meeting with prospective clients to understand their financial situation, existing coverage, and long-term goals to recommend suitable policies.
• Policy Sales and Customization: Explaining the details, benefits, terms, and conditions of different insurance products (such as life, health, auto, and property insurance) and helping clients select or customize plans that best fit their needs and budget.
• Application and Underwriting Assistance: Guiding clients through the application process, ensuring all paperwork and necessary documentation (e.g., medical examination forms) are completed accurately to obtain underwriting approval and policy issuance.
• Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients through regular follow-ups, proactively reminding them about premium payments and renewals, and addressing any queries or concerns.
• Post-Sale Services and Claims Support: Providing ongoing support after a policy is sold, especially during the claims process. This involves helping clients with paperwork, liaising with the insurance company, and monitoring claims to ensure a smooth and equitable settlement for all parties.
• Staying Informed and Compliant: Continuously updating knowledge on new products, market trends, tax laws, and industry regulations (e.g., IRDAI regulations in India) through ongoing education and training programs to provide informed and compliant advice.
