Qualification: BLIS / Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science (Mandatory)
Experience: 1 to 3 years
Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month
Communication: Excellent communication skills required

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Librarian to manage and maintain the library’s resources, support students and staff, and ensure a smooth and efficient library environment. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for books and information management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day library operations
• Organize, classify, and catalogue books and digital resources
• Assist students, teachers, and staff in locating reading materials
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper upkeep of the library
• Handle book issuing, returning, and record maintenance
• Promote reading habits and conduct library activities
• Ensure a quiet, disciplined, and student-friendly environment
• Manage digital library databases (if applicable)
• Coordinate with academic staff for resource planning

Requirements

• BLIS / Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science (mandatory)
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
• Basic computer knowledge for library management software

Salary

• Up to ₹30,000 per month
