Senior Tour Consultant – Job Description A Senior Tour Consultant is responsible for guiding clients through the entire travel planning process with expertise, professionalism, and personalized service. This role involves understanding customer requirements, suggesting suitable destinations, creating custom tour packages, and ensuring smooth execution of all travel arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Handle client inquiries and provide expert travel advice based on customer preferences and budget. Design, customize, and sell domestic & international tour packages. Coordinate with airlines, hotels, cruise lines, and ground operators for bookings and confirmations. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate the best rates. Manage group tours, family tours, and corporate travel with attention to detail. Ensure timely documentation such as visas, insurance, and itinerary confirmations. Solve on-trip issues and ensure seamless client experience from booking to return. Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth. Train and guide junior consultants when needed. Skills & Qualifications: 2–5 years of experience in travel and tourism (international destination knowledge preferred). Strong communication and customer-handling skills. Good command over ticketing systems, booking portals, and travel software.
