Hiring | Robotics Engineer We’re looking for a Founding Engineer who can independently own and deliver robust autonomous capabilities end-to-end, from technical strategy to real-world execution. We’re a venture-backed, young startup building an AI-enabled platform for precision drone spraying in agriculture. You’ll work directly with the founders who are IITians, serial entrepreneurs, and ex-Blinkit/ Statiq (YC) operators. You’ll get a competitive salary and strong ESOP upside, with ownership from day one. Responsibilities: Integrate spraying drones with farm intelligence, remote sensing, and field data to drive precision decision-making and adaptive mission execution. Build and ship robust autonomy capabilities end-to-end, perception, planning, control, and safety, ready for real-world deployment Requirements: Hands-on UAV flight testing and post-flight log/data analysis Strong working knowledge of the ArduPilot ecosystem (setup, tuning, modes, safety, failsafes) Working understanding of Machine Learning for robotics/perception (e.g., CV/ML models, deployment constraints, and how ML ties into autonomy and decision systems) Experience developing, tuning, and optimizing control systems for autonomous flight Proficient with MATLAB/Simulink and flight simulation tools Familiar with embedded systems and comms protocols: CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, MAVLink Understanding of sensor integration: GPS/RTK, IMUs, air-data sensors, magnetometers Strong analytical problem-solving with system-level integration thinking High self-motivation and ownership in an agile R&D environment Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Robotics, or related field 1–2+ years of relevant experience in UAV flight dynamics / controls / autonomy (industry or serious applied work) If this excites you, send a short note with your background and your best project at aaishi@leher.ag
